Moon Luck

Washington Skies

My tears rain down like Washington skies.
I look all around for the gracing of eyes.
In the courtyard where there was nowhere to go.
A place where only the wanderers grow.
Those who push forward despite their own greed;
or who sprint through so fast that their spirits are speed.
All the while, going it alone.
The body and place, the only remanence of home.
